Travis Powell is an Elvis Tribute Artist based in Charlotte, NC and the 2016 Grand Champion “Tribute to the King winner”. Raised in Shelby, NC, he grew up listening to Elvis’ “Aloah from Hawaii”, which he says, “was my inspiration to sing and entertain professionally“. The complexity of Travis’ southern background defines him both as a person and entertainer, signifying his ability to infuse rhythm & blues, country and gospel recreating the music and giving him the ability to sing in the same style as Elvis Presley.
