It’s pretty basic:  All Dads.  All Bad – especially when foregoing paternal obligations and heading to band gigs.  At some point, realizing that a 40th birthday is an event worth ROCKIN’ over, the band began to work the circuit of backyard birthday parties in Charlotte. Those initial gigs evolved into galas, fundraisers, weddings, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, and now, 15+ years later, 50th birthday parties!

We have 2 objectives when playing a gig…get people dancing and have fun!  Period.

The BD’s hook is a musical box of Gumpian chocolates:  You just never know what you might hear next…Led Zeppelin, followed by Pink, followed by Abba, followed by Bob Marley, followed by the Beatles, followed by Black Eyed Peas, followed by Duran Duran, followed by the Grateful Dead, followed by Snoop Dogg, followed by the Police, followed by Prince (we always end with Prince!)….well- you get the picture.  It happens at a BD’s gig.  Like a massive “Shuffle Playlist” performed live with sweet harmonies, tasty licks and tongues in cheek.

We love what we do…we love playing together and we love being a part of the party!

The Bad Daddies are a musical tsunami from Charlotte, NC.  For over two decades, playing hits from ALL eras and all genres, the Bad Daddies are guaranteed to get folks dancing all night and screaming for more.

With the amplitude of an arena rock show, the intimacy of a “you should have been there” club show, and energy of a frat house all-nighter, the Bad Daddies continue to be one of the most sought after musical acts in the region.  Their covers range from Funk & Disco, to Rock & Country, to Pop & Mainstream Rap…with a nod to anything that the keeps the crowd in a state of “I still got it!”.  A Bad Daddies show typically ends with the dance floor full, the bar empty and women’s shoes and guys’ jackets on the ground.
